Wood Review: LIQUIDMETAL Driver
by John Kim
LIQUIDMETAL Driver: -
This driver is not as well known on the East coast but has a big reputation on the West Coast for being one of the best, if not the best, driver on the market today.
The large clubhead is blue in color and the clubface has a mirror metal shine. It's very sleek and stylish looking, but yet is very light to hold. I have had the fortune of obtaining one of these clubs for my own use and review.
The Good:
This is definitely a great driver. It makes a distinct sound as your swing slices the driver through the air on warmups. Upon proper ball contact you should see a difference in your driving distance if you have a good swing. As an added bonus your ball will leave a dusty fingerprint on the clubheads mirror liquidmetal surface and will show you exactly where you made contact.
The Bad: This club is somewhat pricey, but again is supposed to be well worth every dollar. It also is not as forgiving for slices as some other drivers. Thus, you need a decent
swing if you're going to see some improvement with this driver.
Overall: If you can afford it and have a good swing, this driver will be an asset to your bag and will make you the envy of your friends.
